Peace and Blessings be upon you. We are all fortunate as former students and supporters of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. As a part of a great academic legacy, we received an opportunity to pursue professional careers, often enjoying many accolades and benefits.
As you well know, artificial intelligence (AI), outsourcing, robotics, and the implementation of lean management systems in many industries around the world significantly reduced number of workers needed to run most modern organizations while at the same time dramatically improving their overall performance. Thus, making it exceedingly more difficult for traditionally educated American college students to find suitable employment opportunities.
The Department of Business, Management & Accounting has developed a Memorandum of Agreement resulting in the establishment of the professional development quasi endowment fund. This endowment allows a tax-deductible contribution to support our department’s efforts to help create internship and full-time employment opportunities for our students.
This is not the time to hesitate on your commitment, nor your financial support. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $20,000.00 to support our professional development activities beginning the fall of 2019! Please send your tax-deductible donation payable to:
