Akosua Yeboah Receives a position in the Fannie Mae Internship Program

We are pleased to offer you a position in the Fannie Mae Internship Program. Your start date is 06/05/22. This letter outline the key components of the offer of employment as an intern at Fannie Mae. This year’s Internship Program will be a 10-week long program and will end in August, 2022. There will be an orientation and training on the first day. Closer to your start date you will receive detailed information regarding the program, your work location, your assignment, and required employment documents to complete.

You will be compensated at an hourly rate of $USD 25.00 and will be expected to work up to 37.5 hour each work week. Interns are not eligible for Fannie Mae benefits, including severance benefits if Fannie Mae terminates your employment while you are in the Internship Program. However, interns are eligible for the 401k plan and may take reasonable un paid leave as approved by your manager.

In addition, you will receive a sign-on award in the amount of $USD 1,500.00 less applicable taxes and other required deductions. This award will be paid to you in your first regularly scheduled paycheck. Th award is subject to 100.0% repayment, if prior to the completion of your internship, you voluntarily leave Fannie Mae or are terminated by Fannie Mae for misconduct.

This offer of employment is not a contract. Your employment with Fannie Mae will be at-will, which means that your and Fannie Mae separately can terminate your employment at any time, for any reason, with or without cause, and with or without advance notice of each other. This at-will employment relationship cannot be altered by any oral representation.

This offer is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. If you fail to pass the background investigation, this offer becomes void, alternatively, if you have already started working, your employment will be terminated. Details about the background investigation will be mailed to you separately.
