Hi, Dr. Mitchell,
I was accepted into a program called the EICOP HBCU in LA program back in February. Not everyone accepted into the program is guaranteed an internship with one of their industry partners (companies like Disney, NBCUniversal, DreamWorks, etc.).
However, I was interviewed and placed with Crooked Media, a digital political platform, and I will be working as a Social Media Strategy intern. Crooked believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us—one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what they can do to fix it.
They are a media network that showcases stories, voices, and opportunities for activism that inform, entertain, and inspire action, because it’s up to all of them to do our part to build a better world.
