Financial Analyst

We'd like to invite your qualified students and alumni to apply for a position with the GESTAR II NASA cooperative agreement at Morgan State University. This position is for a financial analyst.

Brief Summary of Job Duties. Provide monthly financial information and analysis to the Senior Financial Analyst:  Financial Analyst assist with review of monthly expenditures; provides financial support, i.e., including maintaining contract spreadsheets, tracking funding, and monitoring accounts; reconciles monthly purchase logs; participates in monthly budget meetings; serves as a liaison between Sponsored Programs, Finance and Management of other departments.

Requested Minimum Qualifications. Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.   Three years of accounting or related experience.

Other Preferences for Consideration. Knowledge of Federal and Non-Federal grant regulations and operational policies; proficient in Excel and Word; ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing; ability to work with accuracy and give attention to detail; ability to design, analyze and prepare financial reports, ability to monitor expenditures and maintain data.
